Kevin Bamonte promoted to Vice President of Information Technology

Kevin Bamonte has been promoted to Vice President of Information Technology on Jan. 1, 2025.

In this position, he is responsible for oversight of the Enterprise Project Management Office and assists the Chief Information Officer (CIO) in implementing strategic solutions for MBG’s various business units. His responsibilities include driving technical direction; providing automation solutions that help streamline processes; and enhancing IT business operations to improve cost efficiency, service quality and customer satisfaction.

He began his career in information technology as a programmer and web developer, gaining valuable experience at various companies in the Williamsport area. Eventually he established his own firm specializing in hardware, networking, custom software and website services.

Throughout his career, Kevin has collaborated with a diverse array of businesses across Pennsylvania. Notably, he played a pivotal role in assisting several insurance companies in the region with the crucial task of upgrading their core systems. Most recently he was contracted by Penn National Insurance in Harrisburg where he took the role of Senior Project Manager helping them to successfully implement their commercial line products on the Duck Creek platform.

Kevin holds several IT certifications including Project Management Professional (PMP) and Professional Scrum Master (PSM).

Kevin and his wife Shelley have two children. Their daughter Nicole was recently engaged, and their son Joshua is set to be married in March 2025. In his spare time, Kevin enjoys spending time with his family or at the gym working out with his friends. Kevin is also a huge dog lover and a parent to Spikey, who is almost 18 years old — but still all puppy!
