Robert Wentling, Jr. joins as Chief Operating Officer

Robert “Rob” Wentling, Jr. joined Mutual Benefit Group as Chief Operating Officer on Nov. 12, 2024.

In this position, Rob will lead our Commercial and Personal Lines insurance businesses. His focus will be to lead the company forward by building on the successful legacy to grow profitably while enhancing employee engagement. 

Rob graduated from The Pennsylvania State University with a Bachelor of Science in Management Information Systems and earned his Master of Business Administration at Moravian University. He also holds a General Lines Agent license from the Texas Department of Insurance and has completed the Financial Industry Regulatory Authority’s Securities Industry Essentials exam. 

He previously worked at ADP Insurance Services as Chief Marketing Officer, The Hartford as Chief Strategy Officer, Cigna as VP Global Product Strategy and Operations, USAA as Head of Modernization and Liberty Mutual as Head of Transformation. 

Rob and his wife Nicole have four children — Josh, Alex, Noah and Kate. They also have a fur-baby, Abigail, who is a terrier mix. 

In his free time, Rob engages in a variety of fitness activities including hiking, biking, weight training and walking Abigail. He enjoys cooking and dining as well as cheering on the Penn State sports teams, the Phillies and the Eagles.
